Shepherd of the Hills Preschool was established in 1971 as a mission of the United Methodist Church. The school began as a half-day, morning program with four classrooms. As the program grew, additional space was needed to accommodate the growing enrollment.
In 1983, “Shepherd Hall” was built which provided 2 more classroom spaces. Our school has been accredited
by the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s Academy (NAEYC) since 1999. The program is licensed by the State of California Community Care Licensing Division. Our vision does not stop here. We are looking to the future and are dreaming of new buildings and adding a Kindergarten program in the future.
